The appearance settings allow you to customize how parameters are named and the format of numbers throughout the program. Figure 1 shows the Appearance preferences.

Parameters and Gate Labels
The top portion shows Parmeter and Gate label preferences. Parameters can be named by a combination of the stain or detector name which is contained in the keyword $PnN, and the target which is contained in $PnS. As an example, each of the choices would produce:
- $PnN - BUV395-A
- $PnS - CD8-A
- $PnN: $PnS – BUV395-A CD8-A
The other available preference allows you to choose whether to show the count, frequency, or neither on gates.
Numerical Display
The Numerical Display preferences allow you to customize the way numbers are presented across the program. You can set:
- Whether to use significant figures or a fixed number of decimals
- Percents or decimals for describing frequencies
- A country to set the format of numbers (i.e. describe decimal places with either commas or decimals), dates, and times.
