Overview - What Is Group Licensing?
BD Access Portal Admin Tools are used to manage user-based group licensing for:
- FlowJo™ v10 and v11
- SeqGeq™
- Infinicyt™
BD Access Portal Group Licensing is a user-based licensing model designed for institutions with 5 or more users running FlowJo™, SeqGeq™, and/or Infinicyt™. These tools allow institutions or companies to control license access, users, and shared devices.
To access Admin Tools, a BD Access Portal user must be designated as the license administrator ("Admin") or co-Admin for their site.

Important Notes & Limitations
- Sharing BD Access Portal accounts is prohibited by the EULA
- Licenses are self-managed by internal Admins using BD Access Portal tools
- Only Primary Admins receive BD communications (including renewal reminders)
- Co-admins:
- Have full Admin privileges
- Can be added without limit
- Must have a BD Access Portal account
- May (but do not have to) hold a license seat
- Each active user may sign in on up to 4 devices (one device at a time)
- Users may replace up to 4 devices per year
- Chrome is the recommended browser
- Admin Tool Limitations
- Audit logs are not currently available
- Users cannot be permanently deleted (users may be Archived instead)
- Single Sign-On (SSO) is not supported at this time
