Finding Dongle ID (Legacy Black Dongles <2009)

Dongle Serial ID Lookup Instructions

Prior to 2009 is an older version of the all black capped dongle that allowed access to version 7/8. These are the instructions for legacy black Dongles delivered prior to 2009:

1. Click on Apple icon (top left of screen)
2. Select About This Mac
3. Click on System Report…
4. From the Hardware list, click on USB.
5. Under USB High-Speed Bus, click on USB Disk
6. Locate the Serial Number
7. Copy and paste the Serial Number into your email to us
