Version 10.10.1 Exhaustive Release Notes

This is a point update primarily intended to improve handling of unmixing matrices from BD FACSDiscover instruments, and to fix a handful of issues.

New Features:

  • BD SpectralFX Technology UnmixingImprovements.  FlowJo will now:
    • Display hardware unmixed parameters with OLS applied by default and SpectralFX applied by a click selection on a file(s)
    • Display an editable unmxing matrix with SpectralFX applied
    • Allow users to create an identity matrix
    • Work on files from BD FACS Chorus 5.4+
    • Group the hardware and software unmixed parameters
    • Correctly omit the image derived parameters from default unxming parameter seletion
    • Read and apply Correction Matrices from BD FACS Chorus.

Improvements:

  • BD FACSDiscover S8 will now be recognized in the preferences
  • The import / export cytometer scaling prefs tool is now a button with improved visibility
  • Improved handling of Miltenyi transforms
  • Compensated parameters are now placed at the top of selection menus to make them easier to access
  • The default number of nearest neighbors is reduced to 3 in the Embed algorithm for improved performance
  • Last save location is remembered and presented as the default option
  • FasterXML jackson-databind libraries are now used
  • Both the client and engine use a map to store keyword values for improved performance
  • The installed Java version has been updated to 17.0.17+10-LTS
  • Improved cloud drive handling
  • Accented letters in file paths are now handled

Bug Fixes:

  • Embedded links have been updated to match our new website
  • Invalid compensation/unmixing matrices no longer causes a crash
  • Ellipse gates will update while zoomed in now
  • CSV exports of MEM scores are properly ordered
  • Cluster explorer exported medians now match selection
  • Israel locale setting now uses proper numbers
  • Check-sample quality checked on in prefs no longer gives a file loading error
  • Action logs retain saved logs for 30-days as expected
